Why live workshops matter
Watching AI work is different from reading about it: students see what a tool does well, where it fails and how much judgement the operator still provides — and a guided first exercise makes the next step feel manageable.

Gurdaspur
techcadd collaborated with the Golden Group of Institutions in Gurdaspur to host live technology and artificial intelligence workshops for students — hands-on sessions rather than a purely lecture-based programme.
The group spans engineering, management, pharmacy, polytechnic and education colleges, so a single workshop can reach a computer science student, a diploma student, an MCA candidate and a management student at once.
What each branch can take away
- CS and ITBuild a small app that calls an AI service and test its outputs.
- Electronics, electrical, mechanicalCombine domain knowledge with Python to analyse measurements.
- MCA and managementUnderstand what AI needs, what it can do and the risks it brings.
- Polytechnic and B.VocShort, project-based skills that show on early applications.
From workshop to skill
- Within a week: note three things you’re curious about.
- Within a month: finish one small project.
- Within a semester: build one track’s foundations steadily.
“The aim is a clearer map and a first small success.”
